Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept credit cards (Visa/MasterCard) as well as Maestro (Switch) and Visa Debit cards. Via PayPal and Google Checkout.
Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. All other orders are charged to your payment method as soon as we receive your order. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, post or over the Internet.

WE ONLY ACCEPT ORDERS FROM UK BUYERS FOR UK DELIVERY.

Customers have the option to pay in full or by instalments (on qualifying products) if paying by Visa or Mastercard. Failure to make an instalment payment when it becomes due will result in the outstanding balance becoming payable in full immediately along with a fee of £10.00 per letter or phone call required to inform you of the arrears and to chase payment.We will also pass along to you any charges incurred in the debt recovery process.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

IF MORE THAN TWO ATTEMPTS AT DELIVERY ARE MADE THE DELIVERY COMPANY WILL EITHER CHOOSE TO RETURN THE ITEM TO US OR CHARGE YOU FOR SUBSEQUENT DELIVERY ATTEMPTS. SHOULD THE ITEM BE RETURNED TO US YOU WILL BE LIABLE TO BE CHARGED AGAIN FOR RE-DELIVERY.

Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with at least a 12 month Manufacturers guarantee. For problems with your unit after 30 days of purchase you will need to contact the manufacturer directly to resolve your problem. They usually provide a first class service. For damage on delivery please contact us within 5 days and follow the procedure as shown in the email you received when your order was despatched.

Introduction - Products available for sale on any website run by The Home Style Shop Ltd or available for sale by us via any website run by www.eBay.com, or www.homestyleshop.co.uk are subject to these terms and conditions. By purchasing products as outlined above you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, and you are bound by the version available on the site at the date of purchase.

Pricing - All prices are in £ sterling, inclusive of VAT and exclusive of delivery charges. You may pay by any Visa/MasterCard/Switch/JCB card as well as by Google Checkout, FastPay or PayPal. We are under no obligation to accept your order. Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change at any time prior to acceptance of your order, unless you have made an order via any website run by www.ebay.com. If this is the case then the current rules as laid out by eBay concerning "Buy-it-Now" or "Auctions" will amend these conditions.

Accepting Orders - When you place an order we will treat it as an offer to buy. However, we will be entitled to refuse to accept your order if we feel it necessary, in which case we will e-mail you as soon as we can to let you know. If we decline your offer on security grounds we may contact you to seek an alternative payment method.

Representations - You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal right and ability to enter into this agreement and to use any debit or credit card used to purchase goods or services on this site. You also warrant that all information you have provided is accurate and true.

Security - When making a purchase directly on any of The Home Style Shop Ltd's websites, we know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted on your computer using 128 bit encryption before being transmitted over the internet. They are only decrypted after they reach our server. Should you be paying us by either Google Checkout, FastPay or PayPal then the relevant trading conditions will apply.

Liability - (i) We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business or other consequential, special or indirect loss arising out of the use of any product purchased from The Air Conditioning Shop Ltd.

Dispute - If you have received your order and you dispute the item/s delivered to you, you need to retain all the documents supplied with the order and also original packaging materials such as envelopes, padded envelopes etc as this will be needed for the evidence.

Cancellations and Returns - If there is a fault with your product or some other defect with your order you may return it to us within 7 days for a replacement. We will endeavour to replace it with the same model. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. If your product develops a fault after more than 7 days, it will be covered by our 12 month guarantee. All items must be in "as new" condition, in original packaging and with all manuals, accessories and include the original invoice. Any discrepancies will result in forfeiture of your refund. PLEASE ALSO TRY AND KEEP ALL PACKAGING AS YOU WILL NEED THIS TO RE-PACKAGE YOUR ITEM SHOULD YOU NEED TO RETURN IT TO US FOR ANY REASON.

We do not offer a "try-before-you-buy" service - Returns cannot be accepted for full refund if the item is not to your liking or in your opinion generates too much noise or is too large etc. Call us to discuss such a problem BEFORE returning the unit.
Air Conditioners, & Evaporative Coolers returned with no fault or defect where The Home Style Shop Ltd is not responsible for any error will be charged a 35% restocking fee and the delivery charge will be deducted for the goods returned. The balance will be credited to the same credit card or Paypal account.
All other items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee should the item not be returned in a resaleable "as new" condition.

Over Supply - In case of over-supply we will send three e-mails and make 4 phone calls. One letter will also be sent to the original billing address three days after the first e-mail. We reserve the right to charge the original payment method with the original amount if contact has not been made after 7 days.

Returning Items - Do not send any items without making prior arrangement with us, if you do so then any loss of items in transit will be totally your responsibility. If goods are faulty and you may want to return them to us, please send an email to us or call us on 08701 417 427. We will then make arrangements with you to collect the items. Ensure that you have returned all the materials and the packaging and the necessary documents. It is your responsibility to package the units in exactly the same manner as they were delivered to you. If your unit had strapping around the box then this can be replaced with large packing tape covering all sides of the box. Please ensure you use your best judgment when re-packing your unit for return. If not, no refund will be given to you as you will be charged for the damage to the unit. If you are in ANY doubt about how to re-package your unit, please call us on 08458 691164 and we will advise you further.

Repairs or replacements - If your unit develops a fault within the first 30 days we will at our discretion either send an engineer to the original delivery address as shown in your order or we will despatch a new unit to you. If we decide that we should despatch a new unit to you then it is YOUR responsibility to ensure that the unit is returned to us in accordance with the above paragraph "Returning Items".

Delivery - Please click here to read Important Delivery Instructions. Failure to adhere to these instructions could mean a loss of insurance coverage on your delivery meaning that you will be liable for any damage in transit claims.
